New Delhi, Oct 14 : Tihar jail administration has suspended 28 jail officials and terminated the service of two contractual employees for allegedly helping former Unitech promoters Sanjay Chandra and Ajay Chandra, a senior jail official said on Thursday.
The jail authorities wrote to Delhi government to suspend two officers, one superintendent and a deputy superintendent among others, who were found prima facie complicit in the matter during the police inquiry, a senior jail official said.
