Ensure every eligible person get Ayushman health card : UP CM to officials

Gorakhpur, Oct 4 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met around 300 individuals during the Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple here on Friday.

Attentively listening to their grievances, the Chief Minister handed over the applications to the officials, assuring the public that their concerns would be promptly addressed.

He also assured that those seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses will be looked into, and added the state government will bear the treatment cost for needy individuals who do not possess an Ayushman card.

For this, a treatment cost estimate should be obtained from the hospital and submitted to my office. Full assistance will be provided from the discretionary fund.”

As in every Janta Darshan, many people arrived with applications seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. Yogi assured everyone of the government’s support.

Upon hearing the concern of a woman, he directed officials to admit her to the hospital and obtain an estimate for her treatment, stating that the government would bear the expenses.

The CM emphasised the importance of ensuring that every eligible person receive Ayushman health card so that no one faces difficulty in accessing healthcare.

During the Janta Darshan, Yogi directed the officials to study every grievance with sensitivity and ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution. He emphasised that no negligence would be tolerated in handling these issues.

The CM said that strict legal action must be taken against anyone engaging in land encroachment or harassment, ensuring that the concerns of every victim are addressed impartially and resolved to their satisfaction.

While visiting the Gorakhnath temple complex, Yogi warmly interacted with children visiting the temple with their families. He asked their names, and inquired about their studies, encouraging them to excel in their education.

During his stay at Gorakhnath temple, he followed his traditional routine and visited the temple’s Gaushala. The CM spent time tending to the cows, personally feeding them jaggery, and demonstrating his commitment to cow service.
