Agra: 3 die as car rams into tree

Agra (UP), Nov 12 : Three persons were killed and two others injured when a car rammed into a tree in Fatehabad area of Agra district here in Uttar Pradesh, police said here Saturday.

The incident took place near Pallia village when the car driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into the tree late Friday. “Circle Officer Saurabh Singh, In-charge Alok Kumar Singh along with force reached the spot but three passengers had died by that time,” the police said.

Waqar and Owaish, who got injured in the incident, have been admitted to the hospital.

“The deceased have been identified as Imran, Nasir and Zabi, all residents of Jatavpuri in Firozabad district.

“Their family members have been informed and the bodies have been sent for post mortem examination,” it said.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over loss of lives in the accident and has directed the district administration officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured.
