Amit Shah on a visit to Bengal

Kolkata, April 14 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah is embarking upon a two-day visit to West Bengal on Friday.
Shah will arrive Andal airport at 12.30 PM from where he will visit Suri in Birbhum district to address a public meeting in the afternoon.
He will also inaugurate the district BJP office at Suri.
Later in the evening, he will come to the city and hold a closed-door meeting with the state party leaders.
Shah will also pay a visit to Dakshineswar Temple and offer obeisance.
The Home Minister will return to New Delhi on Saturday.

Shah’s visit has assumed significance as the 2024 Lok Sabha election is nearing.
In 2019, the BJP romped home in 18 of 42 seats in West Bengal.
