AP governor, CM congratulate Neeraj Chopra

Vijayawada, July 24 : Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated Olympian Neeraj Chopra on his winning the Silver Medal in men’s javelin throw at the World Athletics Championships 2022.

Governor Harichandan in a message here on Sunday hailed the historic win, which is India’s second medal at the World Athletics Championships since 2003 and wished Neeraj Chopra to win many more such laurels for the country in the future.

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated Olympian Neeraj Chopra on winning Silver medal in the Javelin throw event of the World Athletics Championship held at Oregon, USA. Neeraj, the second Indian to win a medal in the World event after Anju Bobby George, made the nation proud with his 88.13 m effort, the Chief Minister said and wished him all success in future events.
