Bengal Update : Guv Jagdeep Dhankar appeals to voters to exercise their fundamental right

Kolkata, Mar 26 : On eve of polling, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has appealed to every voter to exercise their fundamental right to vote and elect their representative into the assembly.

” By casting your vote, you will be a proud contributor to the success of the spirit of our Democracy.

Your vote will help fulfil the aspirations of all and realise your dreams,” Mr Dhankar in an appeal on Friday said.

The state will witness the first of the eight-phase election on Saturday for 30 seats in the tribal-dominated Jangalmahal’s five districts.

” We must all remember that the Right to Vote is sacred and carries with it a great responsibility. Show this thread,” the Governor said.

” I particularly appeal to the first time voters to participate in the greatest and the most significant democratic event and avail the opportunity to be participants in shaping their destiny,” he said.

” I appeal to you all to positively cast your vote,” Mr Dhankhar concluded.
