Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar : CM announces exgratia of Rs 4 lakh each to Kin of deceased children

Patna, Dec 29 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday announced an Ex gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the family members of the deceased killed in the accidental fire in Banka district.

In his condolence message, Kumar said that he was deeply aggrieved at the demise of the children and directed the disaster management department as well as the district magistrate of Banka to immediately provide the compensation amount to the kith of the deceased children.

Earlier five children were roasted alive in an accidental fire that broke out on Tuesday night in the house of one Ashok Paswan due to leakage in LPG cylinder during cooking at village Rajwaar under Rajaun police station area.

Ashok Paswan lost his four kids including a son and three daughters namely Ankush Paswan (10), Shivani Kumari (08), Seema Kumari (05) and Soni kumari(02).

Anshu Kumari (10), daughter of Prakash Paswan, brother of Ashok Paswan was also charred alive in the incident.
