Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tests positive for Covid-19, advised rest

Patna, July 26 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has tested positive for Covid-19 and doctors have advised him for rest in isolation.

Sources at the CM’s secretariat said here on Tuesday that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was not feeling comfortable for the last two to three days. When tested for Corona virus infection, he was found to be positive, sources added.

“Doctors have advised Chief Minister Kumar for rest in isolation”, sources said adding that as per medical advice, Kumar is now in home isolation. CM has advised those to get tested for Covid 19 who came into contact with him during the last three days.

This is for the second time that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had tested positive for Corona virus infection. Earlier, he had tested positive on January 10 earlier this year.
