Bihar polls: Nadda urges voters to vote in large numbers while adhering to Covid protocols

New Delhi, Oct 28 : A polling began for the first phase of Bihar assembly elections, BJP president JP Nadda on Wednesday urged voters to take part in this ‘Mahaparva’ (Grand festival) of democracy while following the precautions related to COVID-19.

In a tweet in Hindi, the BJP president said, ‘The first phase of voting for the Bihar assembly elections is going on today. Your vote is your biggest strength in democracy. I request all voters to take part in this ‘Mahaparva’ (Grand festival) of democracy keeping in mind the precautions related to Covid.’

Voting for 71 seats in the first phase of Assembly elections in Bihar began on Wednesday morning amid enforcement of Covid related protocols.
