Palakkad, Mar 30 : Attacking both the ruling CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) and Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to put an end to the fixed match between the two fronts, who were looting the State every alternative five years.
Addressing a public meeting as part of his first election campaign for the April 6 Assembly poll here, he said the politics in the state has witnessed changes over the past years and it is high time that the friendly game by the LDF and UDF is put to an end.
This is the wish of people, the Youth in particular, the Prime Minister said.
He said apart from corruption and practicing politics of convenience, both the LDF and the UDF had worked against the cultural values of Kerala.
While the LDF betrayed the devotees of Sabarimala, the UDF stood as silent spectator. The BJP will not keep mum on such issues, Mr Modi said.
