Mangaluru, Apr 16 : Nine fishermen, of the 14 fishermen who were on board of the ill-fated fishing boat from Kerala which capsized on April 12 after colliding with a cargo ship, are yet to be traced.
Meanwhile, the bodies of two of the three fishermen which were retrieved were sent to Tamil Nadu where they belong to while the body of another fisherman found has been sent to his native place West Bengal.
Search operations for the rest of the missing fishermen are underway. The Coastal Security Police Force, a helicopter and a ship from Karwar naval base are on the job. Expert divers have also been pressed into service.
