Bopanna, Sania Mirza and Arjun lose their doubles matches

Chandigarh, Jan 12 : Rohan Bopanna (India), pairing Edouard Roger-Vasselin (France), went down fighting to Steve Johnson and Austin Krajicek (USA) in the doubles first round match in the $430,530 ATP 250 Adelaide International 2 (Australia) on Tuesday.

After splitting the first two sets, the American pair clinched the issue in tie-breaker. The US pair won 6-4, 3-6, 10-8.

It may be called that Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramanathan had won the doubles title in the ATP 250 Adelaide International 2 (Australia) last week.

Tezaer Martincova and Marketa Vondrousova of Czech Republic defeated Nadiia. Kichenok of Ukraine and Sania Mirza of India 6-3, 6-3 in the doubles Round of 16 in the $430,530 WTA Adelaide International 2 (Australia). The match lasted 61 minutes.

Arjun loses: Kaichi Uchida (Japan) and Tung-Lin Wu of Taipei upset fourth seeds Marco Bortolotti of Italy and Arjun Kadhe of India in straght sets 6-2 6-4 in the doubles first round match in the €45,730 Citta Di Forli 2 (Italy).
