BSF constable kills self in Chhattisgarh

Kanker (Chhattisgarh), Apr 28 : A BSF constable committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle on Thursday morning at the Force’s camp in Kamteda village within Koyali Beda Police Station limits of this restive district in Left-wing extremism-affected Bastar division.

“The deceased was identified as Const Ujjwal Nandi who hailed from West Bengal’s Nadia district.

Hearing the gunshot, other personnel in the barracks rushed to the spot and saw their colleague lying in a pool of blood. The motive is unclear. The corpse shall be conveyed to Nandi’s native village following autopsy,” SP Shalabh Kumar Sinha confirmed.
