Mumbai, Nov 11 : The BSE benchmark index, the Sensex and the NSE Nifty continued to be in red for the third day in a row on Thursday.
At opening trades, Sensex tumbled 318.35 points or 0.51 per cent at 60,038.26. Nifty 50 too was down 92.70 points or 0.52 per cent at 17,918.05.
Snapping its winning streak, the Sensex and Nifty 50 had closed in red territory on Tuesday and continued to be in red on Wednesday.
Titan, Tata Steel, Maruti, LT, Mahindra and Mahindra and Airtel were among the gainers while Ultra Cement, Dr Reddy, Reliance, ITC, Bajaj Auto, Kotak Bank were among the top losers at BSE.
