CIK busts recruitment module of a newly floated militant outfit

Srinagar, Oct 22 : Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Counter-Intelligence Wing (CIK) on Tuesday busted a recruitment module of a newly floated militant outfit believed to be an offshoot of the banned organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), officials said.
They said CIK sleuths conducted searches at multiple locations in districts of Srinagar, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Kulgam, Budgam, Anantnag, and Pulwama Tuesday morning. The raids are still underway.
During the operation, a recruitment module of a newly formed militant organization ‘Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim’ (TLM) was dismantled.
Officials said the newly formed group is an offshoot of LeT and was being operated by a Pakistani handler known by his alias ‘Baba Hamas’.
