Hamirpur (HP), Sep 13 : The Himachal Congress on Tuesday asked BJP to deliver its 2017 manifesto rather than releasing a new Vision Document for 2022 assembly elections.

Abhishek Rana, the Social Media chairman-cum- Spokesperson of Himachal Pradesh Congress party said the BJP has not yet fulfilled its 2017 election promises and as such there is no need for the next Vision paper.

He said that the BJP woos the common people with its ‘jumlas’ and then betrays them.

Big announcements were made by the BJP in the last assembly elections. But most of the announcements have not yet seen the light of day, whether it is an announcement related to employment or any other, he added.

He said, “The BJP is preparing to do the same in 2022 assembly elections. BJP is pretending to take suggestions from people to prepare its vision paper.

“Before making a new vision paper, the party must go back its 2017 vision paper once again.”

The Congress leader claimed on other hand, the Congress governments in Rajasthan and Jharkhand have implemented what they had promised in their manifestos.

Rana said that all the guarantees given by the Congress party to the people of Himachal Pradesh, including OPS and five lakh jobs, will be implemented once the party comes to power in the state.
