Aurangabad, Dec 6 : Aurangabad District president of Congress Party Hisham Osmani on Monday said that, his party was planning to send maximum number of party workers to Jaipur in Rajastan to participate a nation wide convention and rally to be organised by the Congress party to protest against the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for rising inflation on December 12.
Talking to UNI Mr Osmani said that a meeting was held in this regard on Sunday, with party workers and office bearers to plan and discuss about participation in the rally and arrangement for participants during the tour, Mr Osmani said.
The meeting was attended by senior leaders Chadrabhan Parkhe, former president Ibrahim Pathan, women president Seema Thorat, Moin Sheikh Hersulkar, Anil Malode, advocate Ekbal Singh Gill among several others.
It is learnt that the Congress is given responsibility to each district and city president to send at least 1000 party workers from their district and claimed that around 50,000 to 70,000 party workers from Maharashtra will participate in the Jaipur rally.
