CRPF IG reviews anti-Naxal operations in Chatra

Chatra, Dec 16 : IG CRPF Rajiv Singh arrived here today on a one-day visit during which he reviewed the anti naxal operations in the district.

On arrival at Chatra, he was welcomed by the officers including SP Rakesh Ranjan and Commandant of CRPF 190 Battalion at the helipad located at Police Lines. After which the IG reached the CRPF 190 Battalion Headquarters with security officers where he held a marathon meeting with the senior officers of the police and CRPF related to the security arrangements.

During the meeting he directed the officers to speed up the anti-Naxal operation in the district by establishing coordination between the police and the CRPF.

Apart from this he stressed on the need of intensifying relations with the police of different districts of Bihar which have a border with the state.

He stressed on preparing a roadmap for carrying out the inter-state operation.

The IG said that the sole objective of the police and other security agencies including CRPF is to wipe out the maoists from the district in which negligence will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

All the DSPs of Police posted in the district, Deputy Commandants and Assistant Commandants of CRPF and other officers were present in the meeting.
