New Delhi, Mar 6 : The National Capital on Thursday recorded a maximum temperature of 31.6 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi’s maximum temperature was five degrees above normal at 31.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 15 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
The humidity level in the air stood at 52 per cent.
However, due to the activity of Western Disturbance in the coming days, there is also a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR in the coming week.
The overall Delhi air quality is in the moderate category as forecast. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is forecast to further improve from moderate to satisfactory category for March 7 and marginally deteriorate to moderate to poor category on March 8 and 9, as per System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
