Hyderabad, Dec 29 : Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) in partnership with Government of Telangana and Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation (TSTPC) Limited have curated a Certificate Course in “Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management” which will be commencing at the Federation House from January 8 next year.
The companies such as Mahalakshmi Profiles Private Limited, Pokarna Limited, GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo and Gubba Cold Storage Private Limited are supporting FTCCI for conducting the certificate course.
The duration of the course is three months and it will be held on every Saturday, a release said on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, FTCCI President K Bhasker Reddy emphasized on the importance of the logistics sector with the recent announcement of the Logistics Policy by the Telangana government and Gati-Shakti initiatives by the Central Government.
The sector will have huge demand for skilled personnel and this will provide the requisite knowledge and technical know-how through the handpicked industry experts and stakeholders, he said.
Regarding the course, Mr G Rajender Reddy, Director – Logistics, Government of Telengana said,’ With the evolution and adaptation of Electric Vehicle, Logistics sector will see a drastic change in first mile and last mile delivery systems. There will be huge economies of scale. Under such dynamic transition, understanding the whole ecosystem with such a holistic course will be of utmost importance”, he added.
