Govt has taken steps to build a new Jharkhand, says Hemant Soren

Dumka, Sep 14 : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said his government has taken steps to build a “new Jharkhand”, asserting that nothing is possible with right thoughts and intentions.

While interacting with the people from prominent walks of life at the Raj Bhawan here he said, change in the symbol of the state was a small step in that direction.

He said the government has already made up its mind about the direction the state should go and accordingly plans have been prepared.

He asked the people to allow some time for the government as all round development would be visible to them soon.

The Chief Minister said it was due to the people have given him the responsibility to lead the state therefore for him the state comes first and party later.

He said that he has decided that he will take all those steps which were needed to make the state prosperous and developed.

The Chief Minister said that despite limited resources the manner in which Jharkhand has taken steps in fight against Coronavirus is an example for the entire country.

He said that it was due to the results of the hardwork of the government that hi-tech labs have been set up in medical colleges of Dumka, Hazaribagh and Palamu while instructions have been given to make arrangements of oxy-meter and oxygen cylinder at the panchayat level.

He said that Jharkhand was a worker dominated state who through their works in different parts of the country are contributing in the development process.

He said that workers of the state have become axis of the economy due to which after unlock started these workers are being offered air tickets to return back to the place of their works unfortunately these are the same workers who were left in middle of nowhere when the lockdown was imposed.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has taken many steps to provide employment to the people.

He said that apart from three big schemes under MNREGA schemes have been also launched to provide employment in urban areas.

Hemant Soren said that the government had also imposed Cess on mineral resources so that revenue can increase and the same can be used in welfare works and development.
