Hyundai records cumulative sales of 58,006 units in Oct

Chennai, Nov 1 : Passenger car makers Hyundai Motor
India Ltd (HMIL) today announced that it has registered a
cumulative sales of 58,006 units in October this year, a
growth of 33.1 per cent when compared to same month
last year.
This included domestic sales of 48,001 units and export
of 10,005 units, a company spokesman said.
While the domestic sales in October registered 29.6 per
cent growth (37,021 units in October 2021), the export
sales grew by 53.1 per cent (6,535 units last year).
The cumulative sales grew by 33.1 per cent (43,556 units
last October).
HMIL Director (Sales, Marketing and Service) Tarun Garg
said “With the ever improving semi-conductor situation,
we were able to meet the demand of our customers and
deliver their favourite Hyundai cars during the festive
season in October.”
He said “our new models like TUCSON continue to receive
an overwhelming customer response with excellent booking
numbers creating a blue ocean of premium SUVs for the
Indian market.”
“We are set to register record domestic sales volume in
CY 2022 with our proven range of super performer SUV
brands and will continue to strive towards enhancing
customer experience for a happy life”, he added.
