Islamabad, Jan 11 : Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday once again stressed that his government’s relationship with the military was ‘exceptional’ and the opposition’s narrative regarding a rift between the government and the military was ‘dead and buried’, Dawn reported on Tuesday.

Khan said this while chairing a meeting of party spokespersons on Monday wherein he states that “civil-military relations are unprecedented these days”.

On being asked about the rumours doing the rounds about a possible deal between the PML(N0 and the army to oust him from office, Khan said he personally was not under any kind of pressure and that he enjoyed the support of government allies and expressed the confidence that his government would complete its full term of five years in office.
