Jharkhand CM hails the role of Sikh community during Corona crisis on Guru Parv
Ranchi, Nov 30 : Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday greeted the Sikh community on behalf of himself and the state government on the occasion of Guru Parv.
Participating in a function organised on the occasion of 551st Jayanti of Guru Nanak Deo Ji at Guru Nanak School here he said everyone has fought together this challenging year and despite the challenges of the pandemic people have managed to follow their religious beliefs and traditions and are also passing them to the next generation.
He said that amid the Covid-19 crisis, the state government is moving in the right direction only due to the support of the people and social organisations.
Compared to other states, Jharkhand is in a better position to tackle Coronavirus and assured that with the strong will power of the government and cooperation of the people the state will continue to perform better, he added.
He said that members of the Sikh community have played an important role during the coronavirus crisis and despite fighting all the challenges the gurudwaras remain open for serving the people 24 hours.
He said with the cooperation of all the people the state would be taken forward on the bath of development.
