JP Nadda : BJP to focus on booth, page committees

New Delhi, Nov 7 : BJP President JP Nadda on Sunday said the party will complete formation of its booth committees by December this year and page committees by April 2022, attending the national executive of the party that focussed on upcoming assembly elections in five states as its agenda.

The BJP president, on behalf of the party, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for handling of the Covid 19 pandemic.

“Covid pandemic has been here for two years. No country could escape the impact. The national executive meeting is being held after a gap of one and half years because of Covid,” Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said.

Nadda said after the pandemic, food crisis is the biggest threat, however government carried out the largest food program in the world.

Because of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah’s leadership, J&K is on the path to development. He said investment and tourism has increased, and also mentioned the Home Minister’s recent visit to Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP president announced that formation of booth committes at 10,40,000 polling booths across the country. He said 85 percent committes have already been formed while rest will be formed by December 25, 2021.

He also said that that next step is formation of page committees for every page of voter’s list. He said the task will be completed by April 2022. The party will also form an institutionalised mechanism at booth level for reaching out to people with Prime Minister’s radio programme Mann Ki Baat.
