Mamata cannot stop BJP from embarking on development in Bengal: Amit Shah

Gosaba, Mar 23 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said Mamata Banerjee cannot stop BJP from embarking on development in Bengal.

Addressing a huge public meeting here, Mr Shah accused, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee of swindling the money the Centre had directed to the state for Amphan relief.

“The Centre sent Rs 10,000 crore but none of you got it,” Shah told the crowd here.
He said Rs 6500 crore package will be created for rehabilitation work in cyclone-hit areas.
“We will form an SIT and send the culprits to jail,” the union minister home minister said.
Mr Shah alleged Ms Banerjee has done massive injustice to the Sunderban region.
During the address, he announced that Sunderbans will be a new district after BJP comes to power

The union minister said,” Modi Ji has devised 115 policies for the upliftment of the poor.”
“Do you want to make ‘bhatija’ the chief minister of Bengal?” the union home minister asked.

Mr Shah said to have to come together and defeat TMC this time,
“We will be instituting Tagore prize on the line of Nobel Prize and Satyajit Ray Award on the line of Oscars to pay tribute to the two sons of Bengal,” the union minister said.

He remembered the sacrifice of freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai.
Mr Shah ended the rally with the ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ slogans.
