MANUU Entrance tests for admission into regular courses from Aug 22

Hyderabad, Aug 21 : Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) will conduct entrance tests for admission into its regular courses for three days begining from Sunday.

The entrance tests will be in two sessions – Forenoon 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and Afternoon 2.00 to 4.00 pm, a MANUU release said here on Saturday.

According to Prof. M. Vanaja, Director, Directorate of Admissions, the entrance test is being conducted at 19 Exam Centres across the country by taking all precautionary measures in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the morning session of August 23, entrance test for PhD (Urdu, English, Hindi, Persian, Public Administration, Mass Communication and Journalism), M.Tech and D.EL.Ed was scheduled whereas in the afternoon session for PhD (Education, Islamic Studies, Social Work, History, Economics), M.Ed, MCA and B.Tech, entrance test will be conducted.

The entrance test for PhD (Management, Sociology, Political Science, Translation Studies), MBA, B.Ed (Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics) will be conducted in the morning session of August 24 and in the afternoon session the entrance test for PhD (Computer Science, Commerce, Women Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) and Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) will be held.

On August 25, in morning session the entrance test for B.Ed (Social Studies) and in the afternoon session entrance test for B.Ed (Urdu) will be conducted, the release said.

Apart from University headquarters Hyderabad, the entrance tests will also be conducted at Asansol, Aurangabad, Azamgarh, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bidar, Cuttack, Darbhanga, Delhi, Jammu, Kadapa, Kishanganj, Lucknow, Nuh, Patna, Ranchi, Sambhal and Srinagar.
