Mayawati announces 2 turncoats as party candidates from Charthaval & Gangoh

Lucknow, Jan 13 : Ms Mayawati tweeted on Thursday that Salman Sayeed, son of former Uttar Pradesh Home minister Sayeduzzaman, has joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

She further wroted “Mr Sayeed of Muzaffarnagar district, met me late last night and he left the Congress and joined BSP.

Mr Sayeed has been fielded by the BSP as its candidate from the Charthaval assembly seat in Muzaffarnagar district, the tweet said.

Along with this, Mr Noman Masood, nephew of former Union Minister of Saharanpur district, Rashid Masood and real-brother of Imran Masood also joined Bahujan Samaj Partyon Wednesday, after leaving the Lok Dal.

The BSP chief made him the candidate of the party from the Gangoh assembly seat.
