Lucknow ,Nov 28 : Bahujan Samaj Parry (BSP) Supremo Mayawati on Sunday asked the BJP government at the Centre to fulfill all the promises made by them during the winter session of the Parliament starting from Monday.

In a series of tweets on Sunday, Ms Mayawati wrote, “The Winter Session of Parliament is starting from tomorrow. During this, the government should not forget its promises made to the public on the ‘Constitution Day’ three days back”.

“They should fulfill their promises properly. What will be the stand of the government towards all the issues of the farmers, is an issue of concern for all and everyone will also keep an eye on it” she said.

Ms Mayawati said all the BSP MPs have also been directed that they must raise important issues facing the country and public interest in both the houses of the Parliament with full preparation under the rules.

“It would be better if the government also works on its behalf by taking the house into full confidence before taking any decision,” she said.

She further said, “At the same time, non-assessment of its impact while enacting laws on issues of wider public interest like agricultural laws has become an important question to which the judiciary is repeatedly pointing to”.

“The Center must pay attention to this too so that the country can be saved from further unnecessary confrontation on the issues of the new law,” she further suggested.
