Mumbai News Update : Duty hours changed in Mumbai amid rising COVID-19 cases

Mumbai, Feb 25 : As per the order of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar has instructed to divide the working hours of the employees in the Mantralaya here.

According to official sources, Mr Kumar has instructed the ministries to call the employees on an alternative, three-day or one-week basis.

Maharashtra Police has also changed its office hours.

100 per cent attendance is mandatory for Group A and B category officers, while the attendance of Group C and Group D staff working at the headquarters has been increased to 50 per cent.

Of these, 25 per cent of employees have been called from 0909 to 1600 hours and the rest from 1100 to 1700 hours, according to Maharashtra Police Headquarters sources.
