New Delhi, Mar 5 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan turned 62 on Friday and wishes poured in for the leader from political circle.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended greetings to the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister.
PM Modi tweeted, “Happy birthday to the energetic BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. He has given new heights of development to the state under his leadership. I wish him a happy, healthy and long life.” Mr Shah posted on twitter, “Wishes to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on his birthday. You should keep working for the welfare of the people and the development of the state with such dedication. I pray to God for your good health and long life.”
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh posted on twitter, ”Warm wishes to Madhya Pradesh’s CM Shri @ChouhanShivraj on his birthday. He has wholeheartedly dedicated himself for Madhya Pardesh’s all-round development. His passion towards uplifting the poor and empowering them is truly remarkable. I pray for his long and healthy life.”
BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda tweeted, “Greetings to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan on his birthday. During your tenure, the state is constantly on the path of development. I pray to God for your good health and long life.”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju, Railways Minister Piyush Goyal, Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Madhya Pradesh BJP president Vishnu dutt Sharma, former Chief Minister and state Congress president Kamal Nath, state leaders and BJP leaders congratulated Mr Chouhan. Mr Kamal Nath telephoned Mr Chouhan from Chindwara and greeted him.
The former Chief Minister also prayed to God for Mr Chauhan’s health and long life. In a tweet, Mr Chouhan also thanked everyone for the birthday wishes. Mr Chouhan planted a sapling at his residence in Bhopal on the occasion.
