Naxals Surrender : 6 Naxals surrender in Chhattisgarh

Sukma (Chhattisgarh), Jan 18 : Six ultras have surrendered in Sukma and Dantewada districts of Left-wing extremism-affected Bastar division.

“Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Mazdoor Sangh ‘President’ Dudhi Sukka, Gondiram-resident Dudhi Pandu and Sodi Deva capitulated on Monday. They were active in Sukma’s Maraiguda and Golapalli areas and carried rewards of Rs 1 lakh each. Budhram, Kosh Kavsi and Joga Podiyam also returned to the mainstream.

They were operating in Dantewada’s Chikpal, Marjum and Koropal in Katekalyan Police Station limits. Insurgent Muchaki Dulgon alias Topi – on whom a purse of Rs 10,000 had been announced – was placed under arrest by a patrol.
