Islamabad, Nov 16 : Pakistan confirmed 216 new COVID-19 cases and six more deaths over the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Tuesday.
The NCOC said the country has conducted 21,452,460 tests, confirming 1,280,092 cases in total.
Over the last 24 hours, 375 patients have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,228,848, said the NCOC.
The pandemic killed six people over the last 24 hours, increasing the total death toll to 28,618.
Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most affected region of the country in terms of the number of cases with 473,250 infections, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 441,965 infections.
