Panaji, Oct 22 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually interact with the beneficiaries and stakeholders of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa on October 23.
Necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate the general public to watch the program live by installing LED screens at major bus stands which includes Panaji, Mapusa, Mormugao, Margao and Ponda, a statement from the government said.
The interaction will also be telecast live at all the village panchayats and municipalities of the state. The Department of Information will hold the programme live on its social media handles.
This is the first time ever for any state that the Prime Minister will be interacting with all the panchayats of the state at once.
The main aim of Swayampurna Goa programme is to provide electricity for all, tap water for all, shelter, sanitization for all Krishi card, PM Kisan credit card, aid for Divyang, health social security for all, opening of bank accounts, Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Prime Minister Suraksha Bima Yojana, aid to senior citizens and so on.
