Lucknow, Sep 8 : With assembly polls in the offing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh twice in this month, officials said here on Wednesday.
First, he will visit Aligarh on Sep 14 to inaugurate an University and other projects and again he will be in Lucknow on September 26 to attend function on Amrit Festival of 75th year of Indian Independence.
The officials said Mr Modi on his visit to Lucknow on September 26, will attend programs organized under the Amrit Festival of Independence and participate in Urban Conclave. The programmee would be held at Indira Gandhi Prathisthan.
On the other hand PM will lay the foundation stone of Raja Mahendra Singh State University in Aligarh on September 14 along with two other projects.
Mr Modi is also expected to inaugurate the Dhanipur airstrip in Aligarh named after former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with his Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma are in Aligarh on Wednesday to review the preparation for the PM visit.
Meanwhile, BJP National President J P Nadda will launch “Booth Vijay Abhiyan” on September 11 from UP.
Mr Nadda will visit any one of the 27,700 Shakti Kendras or booths in the state. The campaign will run in 3 phases.
