President reaches Prayagraj for Allahabad HC programme

Prayaraj, Sep 11 : President Ram Nath Kovind reached the Sangam city on Saturday to participate in the program to be organized at the Allahabad High Court.

The President is scheduled to stay in Prayagraj for about six hours, officials here said.

At the Bamrauli airport Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and others were present to welcome the President .

From the airport the President flew by a helicopter to the Polo ground from where he will go to the circuit house. After some rest he will go to the High Court to participate in the function.

Chief Justice of India(CJI )N V Ramana and Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju will also attend the event.

UP Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and State Law Minister Brijesh Pathak will also participate in this program.

President Kovind will lay the foundation stone for multilevel parking and advocates chamber, library and auditorium which has been approved by the state government.

In this, about 2600 chambers will be built for advocates for which the state government has also released an amount of Rs 600 crores.

The President will also visit the Library Hall of the High Court Bar Association. At the same time, the oil painting of advocate AB Saran will also be dedicated to the High Court.

On this occasion, the foundation stone of the National Law University to be built in Jhalwa area will also be laid.

Adequate security arrangements have been made for the President’s visit.

Flying of kites and drones has been banned in and around the High Court, Circuit House, Bamrauli, Pologround area.
