Rahul Gandhi visits Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Samadhi

Kolhapur, Oct 5 : Congress senior leader and opposition leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday visited Chhatrapatii Shahu Maharaj ‘s ‘Samadhi’ and garlanded the samadhi near the Town Hall of the city.
Gandhi, after unveiled the life size statue of Chhatrapatii Shivaji Maharaj at Kasba Bavda, a suburb of the city, straight left to the Samadhi place of Chhatrapatii Shahu Maharaj and took ‘darshan’ with garlanding samadhi.
State Congress president Nana Patole, former minister Balasaheb Thorat, the party’s group leader in the state legislature council, Satej Patil, party state incharge Ramesh Chennethala, state opposition leader Vijay Vedettwar, and other leaders were present on this occasion.
