Ranchi, Nov 13 : It has been raining since morning in various districts of Jharkhand including Ranchi.
According to the MET Department, the weather is expected to remain like this for the next three days.
Scientist at the local weather station said that the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has reached the coast of Andhra Pradesh. Its effect will also be seen in Jharkhand for the next three days.
During this period light to moderate rain is likely over Ranchi, Khunti, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Gumla, Seraikela-Kharsawan, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Simdega.
The weather station said that after the rains, the cold will increase in the state from November 16. This unseasonal rain has caused major damage to the finished paddy crop. Harvested crop has been kept in many fields which have been completely submerged. While the farmers are worrying about their crops, the upheaval of the weather has made the farmers sleepless. At the same time, due to the change in the weather the average yield of the vegetable crop will be also affected.
