Kollam, Jan 11 : The car of Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) MP NK Premachandran, representing Kollam constituency, has been allegedly attacked by DYFI activists at Chavara on Monday evening.

The attack took place soon after a Student Federation of India (SFI) activist was stabbed to death following a clash between SFI and Kerala Students Union (KSU) activists at the Government Engineering College in Idukki district.

A group of DYFI activists shouted slogans against the MP, attacked his car with sticks and hurled stones on it, sources said.

However, the four-term Lok Sabha MP escaped unhurt in the attack.
