Sensex falls over 100 points

Mumbai, Dec 6 : The BSE Sensex on Friday fell 151 points to 81,608 in early trade ahead of RBI monetary policy. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) declined 59.80 points at 24,648.60.
The stocks, including financial services, health care, Bankex, and capital goods, were in red. The Sensex registered intraday highs at 81,925.91 and lows at 81,529.33 pts.
The Nifty registered days high and low at 24,751.05 points and 24,625.25 points, respectively. The Midcap eased 0.16 pc and the Smallcap by 0.03 pc. In 30 scrips, 10 advanced while 20 declined.
The losers were IndusInd Bank by 0.83 pc to Rs 989.70, Tata Motors by 0.81 pc to Rs 786.15, HDFC Bank by 0.78 pc to Rs 1849.20 and Kotak Bank by 0.73 pc to Rs 1764.35.
The gainers were ITC by 1.21 pc to Rs 473.20, Titan by 0.67 pc to Rs 3460.40, Powergrid by 0.55 pc to Rs 330.40, and HCL Technology by 0.33 pc to Rs 1928.05.
