Sensex rises 47 points

Mumbai, Nov 28 : The BSE Sensex on Thursday marginally gained 47 points at 80,281 in the opening session on the strength of Power, Realty, and Technology stocks.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) moved up 23.15 points at 24,300.05.
The NSE registered days high and low at 24,323.05 and 24,254.35 points respectively.
The Sensex registered an intraday high at 80,329.08 and 80,144.85 points.
The Midcap rose 0.59 pc and Small cap by 1.06 pc.
In 30 scrips, 16 advanced while 14 declined.
The gainers were HDFC Bank by 1.12 pc to Rs 1831.20, Adani Ports by 1.08 pc to Rs 1212.70, SBI by 0.88 pc to Rs 841.35 and IndusInd Bank by 0.88 pc to Rs 1010.95.
The losers were Tech Mahindra by 1.26 pc to Rs 1733.10, Infosys by 1.13 pc to Rs 1902.35, M&M by 1.02 pc to Rs 2973.70 and Powergrid by 0.83 pc to Rs 336.20.
