Mumbai, Oct 6 : Shiv Sena spokesman and MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday informed that the party will hold the yearly ‘Dussehra rally’’ to have a conversation with shiv sainiks, following all COVID-19 norms and it will not be an online rally.
Every year, the party holds Dusshera rally at historic Shivaji Park at Dadar in South-central Mumbai but, due to Corona last year, Dussehra rally could not be held.
Addressing mediapersons here Wednesday, Mr Raut confirmed that Dussehra rally will be hold this time to have dialogue with party workers. It will play a vital role because Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections are to be held in first quarter of next year.
Replying to query pertaining to Lakhimpur incident, he said, “it is very sad that son of Union minister smashed agitating farmers’, under his vehicle, we condemn the incident. And also stopping leaders to go to incident places to pay condolence to bereaved family members of farmers. It is dictatorship of BJP government at the centre as well as Uttar Pradesh government. It was shameful that government has arrested grand-daughter of former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi, without any proper reason.
