SP’s two-day convention from Wednesday

Lucknow, Sep 27 : The state and national convention of Samajwadi Party (SP) will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Ramabai Ambedkar Park, Lucknow.

SP president Akhilesh Yadav will deliver the opening and closing speech in a two-day convention which will begin with the hoisting of the party flag. The neglectful attitude of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) double engine government towards development works and the present political economic scenario will also be discussed during the two-day convention.

SP’s chief spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary on Tuesday said that the party chief, Akhilesh Yadav is of the view that BJP has polluted the entire political environment of the country and the state. He said that the forces spreading hatred and dividing the society have tried to hijack democratic values.

Akhilesh alleged that the BJP government has ruined the works and development scheme started by the name and have just changed their names and put its plaques on them.

He said that the BJP has no faith in the Constitution of India. During the two-day convention, organisational elections will be held, the party will unite its workers and leaders and will take pledge to overthrow BJP from power.
