State BSP chief : Kejriwal playing tricks on Punjab

Insight Online News

Phagwara, Nov 24 : Lashing out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s announcement to pay Rs 1,000 per month to every woman above 18 years of age, Punjab Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Jasveer Singh Garhi on Wednesday alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener was playing tricks on Punjab and the Delhi Chief Minister has made a mockery of Punjabis by coming to the state and announcing to pay Rs 1,000.

Garhi said Kejriwal had said on stage that housewives who had not bought a new suit for many years would be able to get a new suit with Rs 1,000, while mothers could give their children food and drink and the students will go to college with the Rs 1,000. Such nonsensical statements are a great insult to the people of Punjab.

The BSP leader said that the Delhi Chief Minister should first show our Punjabi mothers, daughters and daughter-in-laws a single house in Delhi where the Delhi government was giving Rs 1,000 to women. He warned the Delhi Chief Minister that if he did not share this data with the people of Punjab within 24 hours, the BSP would expose the real truth of Kejriwal in the whole of Punjab.

Garhi appealed to the people of Punjab not to fall into the trap of Kejriwal as he was misleading the people to gain a foothold in Punjab.
