Three Karnataka cops killed in road accident in Andhra

Chittoor, July 24 : Three cops from Karnataka, including a sub-inspector, were killed and three others injured in a ghastly road accident at Puthalapattu Mandal in the district on Sunday.
The accident occurred when a car, in which the cops were travelling, overturned after hitting a road divider on Tirupati-Chittoor Highway near Choutapalli village while proceeding to Tirupati from Chittoor, police said here.
In the accident, a sub-inspector, Constable and the driver died on the spot and three others injured including a Sub-Inspector and two Constables.
The injured were shifted to a nearby government hospital.
A police team from Karnataka came to Chittoor district to nab a drug peddler.
