TN govt extends Rajiv case convict Nalini’s parole for one month

Chennai, July 26 : The Tamil Nadu government has extended the parole (ordinary leave) for S.Nalini, one of the seven life convicts in the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, by one more month.

Nalini was first granted parole on December 22, 2021 to be with her ailing mother.

This was for the seventh time Nalini’s parole was extended by the State government.

Ever since her release on parole, Nalini has been staying at her relative’s house in Brahmapuram village with her mother and visits Katpadi police daily with tight police security to sign.
