Washington, June 1 : The U.S. Congress has approved the bill to raise America’s debt ceiling after the Senate’s passage on late Thursday, the 103rd time since 1945.
The act, previously okayed by the House of Representatives, suspends the debt ceiling until Jan. 2025, allowing the federal government to borrow more money.
