Urdu journalist Anwar Hussain dead

Mumbai, Aug 11 : Senior Urdu journalist Anwar Hussain has passed away, his family said on Thursday. He was being treated at Nair hospital here for liver disease. The death occurred on Wednesday.

Hussain started his career with Hindustan Daily in the early 1980s. He worked with Hindi daily Do Baje Dopahar, Kubair Times, Urdu Times and Sahafat. Currently, he was with Hindustan.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
