West Bengal Governor condemns crude bomb attack outside BJP leader’s residence

Kolkata, Sep 8 : West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday condemned the bomb explosion outside BJP MP Arun Singh’s residence and said that he expects ‘prompt action’ from police in the case.

Taking to his twitter handle, Mr Dhankhar stated, “Bomb explosions as this morning outside residence of Member Parliament @ArjunsinghWB is worrisome on law and order.

Expect prompt action @WBPolice.

As regards his security the issue has been earlier been flagged @MamataOfficial.

Earlier in the dat, three crude bombs were hurled outside the house of BJP MP in the North 24 Parganas district.

The BJP leader was not at home during the time of attack, however, his family members were inside the house. No injuries reported till now.
