West Delhi Lions to play for pride against Central Delhi Kings in DPL

New Delhi, Sept 3 : West Delhi Lions on Tuesday will step on the field for the final time in the ongoing Delhi Premier League T20 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium here.
West Delhi Lions will face Central Delhi Kings in their last match of the season one of DPL.
While it will be an important match for Central Delhi Kings, West Delhi Lions will play for pride as they will look to end the season on a high. West Delhi Lions are out of the semi-final race, having won just two matches from nine.
West Delhi Lions faced many challenges in the ongoing season but gave tough fight to the opponents. There were some really close games which West Delhi Lions lost and the side will look
to seal their last match on Tuesday.
West Delhi Lions owner Dr. Rajan Chopra said, “While this season has been a challenging one, I’m incredibly proud of the way our team has fought in every match. We’ve faced tough opponents and come close on several occasions, showing the resilience and spirit that define West Delhi Lions. As we step onto the field for the final time this season, we’re determined to play our hearts out and end on a high note, for our fans and for ourselves.”
Despite a tough season, Rajan Chopra has emphasized his message to the team: focus on giving 100 percent effort on the field without worrying about the outcome. He has encouraged his players
to play fearlessly and as a united team, regardless of their individual backgrounds.
“As a owner, I only advise the players to give their 100 per cent, no matter what the result is. I always say to them to play without any fear. My only message to the players is play like a team, no matter where you come from, just play with a free mind,” said Dr. Rajan Chopra.
